The Kirk Session of St Paul's maintains a traditional, Scottish-originated Order of Service, applying the established sequence of hymns, prayers and readings directed to a related sermon topic. The minister maintains the dignity of the vestments, and the hymns are selected from the Church Hymnary and the Songs of Fellowship. A special feature is the selection and participation in a "Hymn of the Month". The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is observed on the first Sunday of March, June, September and December.
